Under the hood, the Redmi Note Prime is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU. Paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the phone offers reasonable multitasking capabilities and performance for basic applications. The internal storage can be expanded via a dedicated microSDHC slot. While it might struggle with more demanding applications and multitasking by today's standards, it handled daily tasks efficiently at the time of release, aided by the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with the intuitive MIUI 9.2 interface.
