Under the hood, the XOLO 8X-1020 runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, powered by a Mediatek MT6592M chipset. The octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7 processor is complemented by a Mali-450MP4 GPU, enabling basic multitasking and handling of standard apps and games available in 2015. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSDHC card slot, providing modest storage solutions. While this setup is sufficient for basic use, it does show its age when it comes to running more demanding applications or handling today's updated software environments.
