Performance
Under the hood, the XOLO Era 4G runs on a Spreadtrum SC9830A chipset, with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. While not extraordinary, this configuration suffices for basic tasks such as web browsing, social media, and running casual applications. The phone initially shipped with Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) but can be upgraded to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), offering slight improvements in terms of app compatibility and performance. With 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the device might struggle with multitasking and requires judicious management of available storage. Fortunately, the inclusion of a microSDHC card slot allows for memory expansion.
