Performance and Software
Powered by the Spreadtrum SC9830A chipset with a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, the XOLO Era X was geared towards delivering satisfactory performance for everyday tasks such as web browsing, social media, and light gaming. It came equipped with 2GB of RAM, which was typical for budget phones of its era, allowing for decent multitasking performance. The built-in 8GB of internal storage was quite limited, but the presence of a microSDHC card slot provided users the flexibility to expand storage as needed. Running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the device was upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, bringing improved features and security updates.
