Performance
The phone runs on a Mediatek MT6582 chipset featuring a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400MP2 GPU. While these specifications seem modest by current standards, they provided solid performance for basic tasks and light multitasking when the phone was released. The device came with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but was upgradeable to 4.4.2 KitKat, offering improved features, performance, and security. With 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage, performance was adequate but could be restrictive for users who require extensive app space and multitasking. However, the presence of a microSDHC card slot for expandable memory partially mitigated this limitation.
