Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the Andy A5 is powered by a Mediatek MT6589M chipset. This includes a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, paired with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The configuration provides reasonable performance for casual use, such as web browsing, social media, and light gaming. However, with only 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, users are limited in multitasking capabilities and storage space for apps and media, although this can be expanded via a microSDXC card.
