Performance and Software
At the heart of the ZTE Blade S6 was the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU divided into two clusters of four Cortex-A53 cores each, clocked at 1.5 GHz and 1.0 GHz, respectively. Paired with 2GB of RAM, the device was capable of delivering smooth performance for everyday tasks, though it encountered challenges with more intensive multitasking or gaming applications. The Adreno 405 GPU supported gaming at modest settings, maintaining a balance between performance and power efficiency.
The phone ran on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ZTE’s MiFavor 3.0 layer on top. While older by today's standards, Lollipop was a major Android version, offering a more responsive and visually appealing interface. However, the outdated software means users can't take advantage of security updates and newer features available in more recent versions.
