Under the hood, the ZTE Grand Memo V9815 is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset, featuring a Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 400 CPU and an Adreno 330 GPU. Coupled with 2GB of RAM, this hardware offers capable performance for standard tasks and some gaming applications. At launch, it ran on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which was a common OS version among its contemporaries. The platform provides a smooth user interface, although the out-of-the-box software would be considered outdated today. Additionally, with 16GB of internal storage, users had a fair amount of room for apps and media, supplemented by a dedicated microSDHC card slot for additional storage, a convenient feature for users needing more space.
