Communication and Connectivity
The Memo was designed with core communication in mind, supporting CDMA and EVDO network technologies. While it handled 2G and 3G network bands, there was no support for 4G, which became more common in the years following its release. The absence of WLAN capabilities meant that users relied solely on mobile network data. Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP allowed for basic wireless connectivity, such as connecting to headsets or other devices, and GPS offered location services. The use of a proprietary USB port was common at the time but limited compatibility with more universal charging solutions.
