Introduction and Overview
The ZTE N721, first announced in 2011, represents a snapshot of early Android smartphone technology. Now discontinued, this device was aimed at the entry-level market, offering basic functionalities that were enough for essential smartphone experiences of its time. Operating on GSM and HSPA technologies, the phone was built to provide connectivity via 2G and 3G networks, specifically supporting GSM 900/1800 bands for 2G and HSDPA 850/2100 bands for 3G. This allowed for modest data speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps for downloads.
