Performance and Software
At the heart of the ZTE Open C is a Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chipset, paired with a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and an Adreno 302 GPU. This configuration, supplemented by 512MB of RAM, was modest even in 2014 but functional for essential tasks like basic web browsing, messaging, and calling. The phone runs on Firefox OS 1.3, which was designed for simplicity and relatively low resource consumption. While Firefox OS never gained significant traction, it offered a unique and straightforward interface that catered well to novice smartphone users.
