Internally, the ZTE V9 came with 512MB of storage and 512MB of RAM. These specifications limited multitasking but were enough for simple applications and web browsing. The device originally ran on Android 2.1 (Eclair) but was upgradable to Android 2.2 (Froyo), which offered improvements including a better overall user experience and performance enhancements. For additional storage, a dedicated microSDHC slot was available, providing users with a way to expand storage for media and apps.
