Under the hood, the ZTE Warp 4G runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, powered by the Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 chipset. Although outdated by today's standards, the dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait 200 CPU paired with 1GB of RAM was fairly competent for handling basic tasks and apps when the phone was released. The Adreno 305 GPU allowed for some degree of casual gaming and multimedia playback, which was adequate for typical users at that time.
