Under the hood, the ZTE Xiang runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, an operating system that was popular among business users at the time for its integration with Microsoft Office. The device is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 Snapdragon S1 chipset, featuring a 528 MHz ARM 11 processor. While this setup provided adequate performance for basic tasks like calling, texting, and managing emails, it was not built for more demanding applications or multimedia experiences. The absence of a dedicated GPU also limited its capabilities in handling graphics-intensive operations.
