In terms of connectivity, the ZTE Zmax supports the essential GSM, HSPA, and LTE networks, with the capability of reaching LTE Cat4 speeds up to 150/50 Mbps depending on the network. Wi-Fi support includes a/b/g/n with dual-band capabilities and the ability to function as a hotspot. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS for location services, an FM radio, and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. However, it lacks NFC, which limits its ability to support contactless payment systems. The phone includes basic sensors like an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass.
