Photography enthusiasts would find the Idol 4s capable though not extraordinary. Its 16 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture is equipped with PDAF, dual-LED dual-tone flash, panorama, and HDR capabilities, allowing it to capture relatively sharp images in good lighting conditions. The rear camera can record 4K videos at 30fps. However, low-light performance is limited. The 8 MP front camera is respectable for selfies and video calls, complemented by an LED flash—somewhat of a novelty feature for the era.
