Under the hood, the Idol 4s is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 chipset paired with an octa-core CPU (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53) and an Adreno 510 GPU. Backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSDXC, it offered decent performance for multitasking and gaming at the time. However, running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, it is considerably outdated by today’s standards, lacking support for newer applications and security features.
