Connectivity and Network
As a device from the 2G era, the Alcatel OT-255 supports GSM networks at 900/1800 or 850/1900 bands. There is no support for EDGE or 3G connectivity, limiting the phone’s speed for any data services. The communication options are thus quite limited; it does not include modern features such as Bluetooth or WLAN. For internet browsing, the phone supports WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML, which caters to very basic web functionality.
