The Alcatel OT-995 is equipped with a removable 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, a feature that allowed users to easily swap batteries if needed. For its time, the battery life was reasonable, offering up to 360 hours of standby time in 2G mode and up to 288 hours on 3G. Talk time extended up to 14 hours on 2G and 7 hours on 3G, ensuring that moderate users could through the day without needing a recharge.
