Battery Life
The Alcatel OT-997D houses a removable Li-Ion 1800 mAh battery. For users back then, this provided decent battery life, with up to 400 hours of standby time on 2G and 350 hours on 3G, or up to 16 hours of talk time on 2G and 8 hours and 30 minutes on 3G. The removable battery was a bonus, allowing users to replace it easily if needed.
