Battery Life
The phone originally shipped with a removable 580 mAh NiMH battery, offering up to 70 hours of standby time and 3 hours of talk time. However, an extended 1200 mAh NiMH battery was also available, nearly doubling the standby and talk times to 140 hours and 6 hours, respectively. The choice between a standard and extended battery provided some flexibility based on the user's need for longer battery life, which was one of the more attractive features of the device.
