Display and Interface
The display on the Alcatel OT View is a monochrome graphic type, capable of showing 5 x 15 characters. This is a far cry from today’s high-resolution color screens but was typical for the period. The monochrome display was efficient for basic operations like calling and texting, which were the primary functions of mobile phones at the time.
