Connectivity
Offering GSM and HSPA network technologies, the iPad 2 could connect to various cellular networks, allowing for mobile internet use through 3G with speeds up to 14.4 Mbps. Wi-Fi capabilities were robust with support for 802.11 a/b/g/n and dual-band connections. However, the inclusion of Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR felt dated even at its launch. GPS functionality supported both GPS and A-GPS for precise location tracking. Notably, the iPad 2 lacked an FM radio.
