Apple iPad Wi-Fi Display

Display

The iPad featured a 9.7-inch IPS LCD screen, which, though not fully bezel-free, provided an ample canvas for the user's interactions. The resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels with a 4:3 aspect ratio results in a pixel density of approximately 132 ppi. While today’s tablets offer much higher resolution and pixel density, at the time, the display was suitable for reading, browsing, and media consumption. The screen was protected by scratch-resistant glass and had an oleophobic coating, reducing fingerprints and smudges, a welcome feature for frequent touch interactions.
