Powered by an Intel Atom Z3530 chipset, the Fonepad 8 packs a quad-core 1.33 GHz processor. This, coupled with the PowerVR G6430 GPU, offers decent performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. However, the device is limited by its RAM options: either 1GB or 2GB depending on the model. This can lead to some multitasking challenges, especially with contemporary applications. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the software experience is quite dated by today's standards, limiting access to current apps and security updates.
