Battery Life and Connectivity
The device came with a non-removable Li-Po 2110 mAh battery. While moderate by contemporary standards, the battery life was respectable, offering up to 353 hours on standby and around 18 hours and 30 minutes of talk time on 3G. In terms of connectivity, the Zenfone 5 supported dual SIM cards with dual standby, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and GLONASS. Notably absent was NFC, a feature not yet widespread in lower-tier smartphones of that era.
