Connectivity and Technology
Although the AL26 was equipped with GSM network technology supporting a range of bands, it was squarely positioned within the 2G era. It included GPRS Class 8 for basic data needs but did not support EDGE for enhanced data speeds. Connectivity was limited, with no WLAN, Bluetooth, or position tracking features available. Its communication capabilities were confined to essentials, such as SMS, EMS, and MMS messaging, supported by its WAP 1.2.1 browser for basic internet browsing.
