Connectivity and Sound
In terms of connectivity, the E72 supported Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, which allowed for wireless streaming of audio - a slightly rare feature at the time. However, it lacked positioning services and an FM radio, which may have been a downside for users interested in those functionalities. The device included a loudspeaker and supported vibration, downloadable polyphonic, MP3, MIDI, and flash ringtones, though notably it did not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, instead relying on proprietary connections for audio out.
