The Bird G118 was outfitted with fundamental communication tools such as SMS, EMS, and MMS messaging. However, it did not support Java applications, thereby limiting its capability to run more complex applications or games. That said, it did feature basic entertainment with some pre-installed games and also included a calculator for simple arithmetic, which added a modest degree of functionality beyond just calling and messaging.
