Bird G118 Network and Connectivity

Network and Connectivity

Given its launch era, the Bird G118 supported GSM technology, specifically on the 900/1800 bands. It's restricted to 2G, which limits its usage in today's rapidly advancing mobile network landscape that predominantly utilizes 4G and 5G. The phone lacked most modern connectivity features, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS, which aligns with its focus as a basic communication tool rather than a connectivity hub. It did, however, support GPRS Class 4 for basic mobile internet browsing with its WAP 1.2.1 browser, geared primarily towards viewing simple text-based websites.
