Bird V109 Design and Build

Design and Build

The Bird V109 sported a compact and lightweight design, measuring 82.9 x 43 x 21.7 mm and weighing just 85 grams. Its small size made it highly portable, fitting easily into pockets and small bags. It utilized a Mini-SIM card, which was standard for devices of its time. One of the notable aspects of its design was the two displays: a main TFT color display on the front and a secondary external OLED monochrome display for quick notifications. This external display, although modest by today's standards with a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels, provided users with an easily accessible glance at incoming calls and messages without opening the device.
