Performance and OS
Running on the BlackBerry OS, the 7290 provided a seamless experience for managing emails, contacts, and calendars—core needs of its target business audience. The device includes 32MB of internal memory and 4MB of RAM, which, though quite limited, was adequate for running BlackBerry’s applications designed for efficiency over the lavish resource consumption of modern apps. However, the absence of a memory card slot restricted users to its internal storage capacity, which could be limiting for extensive email usage without regular deletions.
