Connectivity and Sensors
The Celkon A86 supported GPRS and EDGE networks for data, but lacked advanced connectivity options such as 3G or 4G. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n made for acceptable networking in its day, while Bluetooth connectivity enabled file sharing and link-ups to Bluetooth-enabled devices. Navigation and positioning support were unavailable, somewhat limiting its functionality in location-based services. There was also no NFC, but FM radio was a nice touch for users enjoying audio entertainment on the go. One point of note was the proprietary USB port, which could be seen as a limitation compared to more standardized connections.
