User Interface and Functionality
In terms of interface, the A3618 offers a minimalistic yet efficient experience. It was equipped with a mini-SIM slot and could accommodate up to 99 contacts in its phonebook. The call records kept track of the last 20 interactions, including received, dialed, and missed calls. For messaging, it supported SMS with 10 preset templates, an innovative tool for the early 2000s. However, it did not feature a predictive text input or advanced messaging features such as MMS or email.
The A3618 also included practical tools like a clock and alarm, along with three pre-installed games: Tetris, Erix, and Pulldown. These provided small but engaging entertainment options for users during downtime.
