The Ericsson I 888 was predominantly a voice and SMS communication device, without GPRS or EDGE support, making internet connectivity impossible. It lacks modern connectivity and multimedia options such as a radio, games, or advanced sensors but does include basic functions like a clock and an alarm, which were valued for practical day-to-day use.
