Design and Build
The body of the Ericsson I 888 measures 130 x 49 x 22 mm, and it weighs 195 grams, which is heavier than most modern smartphones. The solid build gives it a sturdy feel, characteristic of the robustness of mobile phones in the late '90s. Its dimensions and weight make it less pocket-friendly compared to today's slim devices, but the heft often conveyed durability and reliability back then. The phone uses a Mini-SIM card, which was the norm at the time, distinguishing it from today's micro and nano-SIM counterparts.
