The Ericsson R600 features a compact design characteristic of early mobile phones, with dimensions of 105 x 45 x 20 mm. Weighing only 82 grams, it is remarkably lightweight, making it easy to carry around in a pocket or purse. The phone uses a Mini-SIM card, fitting the common standards of its time. With an aesthetic choice of either Ice Blue or Luminous Champagne, the R600 aimed to appeal to style-conscious consumers who valued subtle elegance. The design also includes a grayscale graphic display capable of showing up to five lines of text, with backlight illumination offered in three colors—an innovative feature for customizable aesthetic display in its class during its era.
