Connectivity and Extras
Connectivity on the Eten M500 was rather limited by modern norms. It offered GSM 2G network support and GPRS Class 10 for data, but lacked EDGE for quicker data transmission. There was no WLAN capability but it included Bluetooth 1.1 and an infrared port for wireless data exchange over short distances. Notably missing were any GPS functionalities or a standard USB port, as it used a proprietary interface for connectivity and charging, limiting it in terms of universal adaptability.
