Design and Display
The Gigabyte GSmart was designed to be a compact device, measuring 103 x 54 x 13.4 mm, which would have comfortably fit in the palm, making it quite pocket-friendly. It supports a classic Mini-SIM card and includes the rather unique addition of a trackball, indicative of smartphone navigation before the dominance of touchscreen gestures. The phone's 2.8-inch TFT display, capable of displaying 256K colors, offers a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. With a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 43.7% and a pixel density of ~143 ppi, the display would appear stark and less vibrant compared to modern models but was typical for its time.
