Under the hood, the GSmart was powered by an Android 1.6 (Donut) operating system, a version that laid the groundwork for numerous Android features seen today. The phone was equipped with a Qualcomm MSM7225 Snapdragon S1 chipset and a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU, which would have provided basic performance capabilities suitable for simple apps and tasks. The absence of a GPU indicates limited graphical prowess, primarily relying on its CPU for display outputs. With 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage, it would only support minimal multitasking, necessarily relying on its microSDHC slot for additional storage capabilities.
