Design and Display
The Gionee S96 impresses with its slim and lightweight design. With dimensions of 128 x 52.8 x 7.4 mm and a weight of just 81.3 grams, it was one of the thinner phones available at the time. Its compact size made it convenient for carrying in pockets, and the dual-SIM functionality provided flexibility for multiple network connections. The phone’s display, while modest, featured a 2.6-inch TFT screen supporting 256K colors with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Although the screen-to-body ratio of around 31% is relatively low and the pixel density of approximately 154 PPI won't win any awards, the display served its purpose for basic usage such as texting and calling.
