Camera Quality
Photography was never the strong suit of the Honor 4 Play. The phone featured a single 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash, enabling it to capture acceptable photos in good lighting conditions, though low-light performance was lackluster. The rear camera also supported basic video recording functions. On the front, the device had a 2 MP camera, suitable mainly for video calls rather than selfies, which was consistent with the capabilities expected from budget devices of its time.
