The Honor 4 Play sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen, which was standard during its release. While the screen-to-body ratio was around 66.9%, which is comparatively modest by today's standards, the display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels delivered a decent viewing experience with a pixel density of about 294 ppi. This meant that text and images appeared clear, although not particularly vibrant or razor-sharp, which was expected at this price point.
