Performance
Under the hood, the Honor 6X is powered by the Kirin 655 chipset. The octa-core processor comprises four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.1 GHz and four additional Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7 GHz, paired with a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It originally shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and could be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei's EMUI 5 interface. Available configurations include 3GB or 4GB of RAM paired with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, respectively. The phone performs well in everyday use, handling multitasking and moderate gaming comfortably, although it may struggle with more demanding applications or games.
