In the audio department, the Honor 8 included a loudspeaker, and retained the much-favored 3.5mm headphone jack, satisfying audiophiles and regular users alike. It packed a range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and an infrared port. One drawback, however, was the absence of FM radio. The inclusion of USB Type-C 2.0, with OTG support, prepared it for contemporary connectivity needs.
