Design and Build
The HTC Dream was immediately recognizable with its distinctive slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Measuring 117.7 x 55.7 x 17.1 mm and weighing 158 g, it was robust and substantial in the hand, characteristic of early smartphones that prioritized tactile input. The physical keyboard was a highlight, catering to users transitioning from feature phones who still relied heavily on tactile typing. The sliding mechanism was smooth, and the keys were well-spaced, making it comfortable to type on for extended periods.
