Hardware and Performance
Under the hood, the HTC Dream was powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A chipset with a 528 MHz ARM11 CPU and an Adreno 130 GPU. With 192MB of RAM and 256MB of internal storage, performance was functional but far from the standards we expect today. The device could handle basic tasks and applications available for early Android but occasionally struggled with multitasking due to limited memory. The dedicated microSD slot was essential, offering users the flexibility to store photos and media externally.
