HTC DROID ERIS Performance

Performance

Powering the DROID ERIS is a Qualcomm MSM7600 chipset, paired with a 528 MHz ARM 11 processor. At the time of its release, this was a reasonable setup that supported the Android 2.1 Eclair operating system alongside HTC's custom Sense UI. While the device's 288MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage seem modest today, in its heyday, this configuration provided enough speed for basic multitasking and app usage. An 8GB microSDHC card was included, partially addressing storage limitations by allowing users to store additional media files and documents.
