Photography and video capabilities on the HTC Magic were defined by its single 3.15 MP rear camera with autofocus, capable of capturing video at 320p resolution at 15 frames per second. Like many phones from its era, the lack of a front-facing camera highlighted the nascent stage of mobile photography. Despite these limitations, it served basic photographic needs well in adequate lighting conditions.
