Performance and Software
Under the hood, the HTC Merge was powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7630 processor, accompanied by 512 MB of RAM. While this setup was sufficient for basic smartphone tasks in 2011—such as web browsing, media playback, and running lightweight apps—the hardware limitations meant it struggled with more demanding applications or multitasking. Running on Android 2.2 Froyo, it featured HTC's Sense UI, adding a layer of customization and user-friendly navigation that was appreciated by its users.
